AINSLEY IS ONE YEAR OLD!!!!!

Can you believe it? I can't!!!

Ainsley has had her first Thanksgiving and her first birthday and is now on her way to her first real Christmas!! Since my last post she has started standing up unassisted for significant periods of time and has also taken her first unassisted steps (about two weeks ago). She loves to walk with us holding onto her hands- just loves it. She barely holds on. I bet she will be walking within the month. She also received her first baby and stroller for her birthday from Aunt Kelley and Uncle Patrick and the girls and is learning to push it- she seems to want to push it from the front though. But that works too. She also received a really cool tricycle from MeMe and PawPaw and she wants to be pushed around on it all the time-Mommy and Daddy's backs aren't loving that! Ainsley is also now eating "table" food - skipped pretty much right over the 3rd foods- and loves to eat her finger food/snacks. We are about to work on transitioning from formula to whole milk and from the bottle to the sippy cup- which she already likes to drink from. Her favorite "words" now are baby (which she says in a kind of French accent, "be-be"), DaDa (of course), Bessie (the dog) (something very similar to that!), Bye-bye, and sometimes Mama. She talks to herself and to us all the time and seems to enjoy the conversations!! She's such a big girl!!

We are finishing up our shopping this weekend and then MeMe and PawPaw get here on Monday the 21st for Christmas- should be a full house at Kelley's for Christmas as usual. It's always a great time and Ainsley loves to play with her cousins Meagan and Macy. We are really looking forward to her first Christmas morning and doing "Santa". I have waited to be able to do this with my own child for a long time- I know Reggie has too. We can't wait and are just thrilled.
